Okay, now that I started this, I'll be the 1st! I am sure I am one of the ones who joined this BB a very long time ago. I fell in love with Catherine's books a long time ago and have managed to collect every book she has written. I had the wonderful experience of getting to meet her on a Author's Cruise back in 2004, along with Katy and TinkerBarb. We had a wonderful time. I also got to see her again in Oct. 2007 when we were visiting Oregon. I have 2 grown kids...a daughter and a son. They both live away from us but we try to see them as much as we can...no grandkids though. Our daughter was just here this past week and went on a 4 night curise with us. My husband Tim, has worked in computers for years and years and we run a small computer company where we have several large clients who we write programs for and support. We have written and host Catherine's Guest Book, In Memory Page and the Chat Room. We both love Catherine and her husband and it was an honor for her to ask us to do those. Since we married in 1970 we have lived in CT, VA, TX and now Florida. We are looking forward to retiring, but just don't know when our clients will let us. And as you can tell by my signature, I love Lighthouses! We try to plan our trip around visiting them! LighthouseLady/Lynda East Coast of Central Florida |

Thanks, Lynda for such a wonderful idea. I am Stephanie Vogelsong, Catherine's personal assistant. I was a reader of hers long before I was fortunate enough to work with her, and has it been exciting! Eric is my husband, and together we have two beautiful children, Victoria and Brendan...who are 7 and 6 respectively. In my former life, I taught high school English and Spanish. When Tori came prematurely at only 23 weeks, I took a leave of absence, and when Brendan was born the next year, I 'retired' from teaching. Having two children back to back, especially one who was fragile, was a full time job in itself! Fast forward to the present---Tori does very well, and Brendan is sure a handful....and both are in 1st grade at school. Since I will be 40 this year, it is great that our family is complete and the children are on their way. I love reading romance books, and have done so since being a young adult. What a great idea that Lynda posted this so that I can get to know you better, and so that Catherine's new readers can 'meet' everyone. I consider it a pleasure to be part of all of you, and if you have questions.....anything about current or past releases, Catherine's career, or simply have suggestions for the site, please let me know. There are wonderful things on the horizon for Catherine, and thanks to all of you for being part of it. I hope you all will consider me your friend. LAST EDITED ON Feb-01-09 AT 03:59 PM (EST) I am Katy from CT. I am a mom of three (Audrey-8, Brianna-7, and Jason-6)and I Home educate two of them at the moment. I used to be in Real Estate, but have officialy left that business and moved on to my next career as a Children's Ministry Director, which I am loving.I love to travel. My next trip is in two weeks, and I am heading off to Oregon for a few days of relaxing, without the kids! Yippee! First time for that. I love to read and knit, but are in between both of those right now. I just can't get into either one. I have too much on my mind. I have been married for 11 years to my husband Bill, and we both have always lived in our town all our lives. He is very community involved and is on the town council. I have a small home, but well loved and appreciated and filled with pictures and handmade things from loved ones..which is another thing about me...I love when people use their talents. And yes, Steph! We consider you a friend!

I am Joanne. I have been around on here, on Catherine's site, for a long time now. Much like Lynda and Katy. And am proud to call Catherine, and now Steph, and the other ladies here a friend. I moved from Florida to NC in May of 2006. I have been married for just over a year. I am an elementary teacher. I have been a bookworm my whole life. I try really hard to bring that love to my students. So far, so good, I think. Joanne :0) |

LAST EDITED ON Feb-01-09 AT 07:37 PM (EST) Hello.I have been married for 21 years this summer. We have 3 children; our oldest who was only with us for 2 weeks, but well loved, our 17 yo daughter and 14 yo son, and of course, the beast, aka our Great Dane Jake. Today I am a football widow..lol I have all kinds of things I like to do, most not all that successfully(like knitting), but what I really love to do is to just sit and look at the badlands out my great room window, watch the hawks fly by, the deer gather in the middle of the road, etc. I live in North Dakota

Hi, My name is Maria D'Angelo. I'm an equine artist from Newton, NJ. I've been married to my best friend, Augie, for almost 15 years. We don't have any children, but we do have a very spoiled Papillon named Zoe. We love her to pieces. Aside from my artwork, I love to crochet, make jewelry, work in the garden and, of course, read! Aug and I have a summer home in the mountains of Lexington, NY. We love it up there and hope to one day move there permanently. We also love to travel. We love the west, especially Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Arizona. "Capturing the timeless beauty of the Equine Spirit." http://www.mariadangelo.com |

LAST EDITED ON Feb-02-09 AT 10:02 AM (EST) What a great idea Lynda, now we won't have to do a new post everytime someone new joins!Welcome Maria, it's nice to have someone else from the tri state area around....My cousin is a D'Angelo too! My name is Mickey and like Bev and Dianne I too am in the 47 club....but I won't claim it for 23 more days....I am still 46 and I am hanging on to it until the very last second I am a Native Brooklyn Girl who migrated first, to the Pocono's then, 8 years ago to Richmond Va....Yeah I'm the real life "My Cousin Vinny" . After all those lovely storms and tons of snow I had enough and moved down here to escape to a place where the city shuts down if they forecast flurries (Oh and forget about getting milk and bread...they buy it up w/in an hour of the forecast! When we first moved here it was to run our own business (3 fast food franchises), however the economy started hitting the wholesale side of things way sooner than the rest of the country and we sold out 3 years ago. I was very blessed that we had the foresight and doubley (don't know if that is a word )so in that I landed a position w/JCP in a career change for me as an interior decorator in thier Custom dept. I love my job and while it is rough going in these economic times I think I will be able to ride out the storm. I too will be celebrating 21 years of marriage this year to my dh Mike and have the light of my life in my 16 soon to be 17 yr old Son Michael (as you can see Italian's are very inventive w/naming their children ). I am a die hard romance reader since my teens....need HEA and this is the only venue where it's guaranteed. I stumbled onto Phantom Waltz a couple of years back and fell in love with this amazing writer CA in looking for more from her I found Annie's Song and that was it for me. I was a die hard dedicated fan. A little over two years ago I was looking for info on the next Coulter book and stumbled on this board. I have been a member ever since and have made some of my closest friends on here. It is still so weird to say that, I have these wonderful friends all over the world whom I've never met, but I know their hearts and I love them all. Mickey "Fugghedaboutit" |

LAST EDITED ON Feb-02-09 AT 06:43 PM (EST) Hi I'm Leigh and I was born two months prematurely with a saccoyaelex? tumor on my tailbone- had surgery to remove it- was left with bathroom problems -the few children with this type of tumor have this as well- and was diagnosed with celebral palsy (not in need of a wheelchair- went to physical therapy and is very mild). I am also deaf and have a cochlear implant. My parents did a lot of work with me and thanks to them, I'm now 33. I know it sounds like I'm lying but truly its true. life is stranger than fiction. anyway, I like to read for the fun of it. Leigh USA |

Hi there, My name is Lucy, I'm 22, and I live in Saskatchewan, Canada with my husband and two little girls. Mya is 3, and Addison is 11 months. I'm a stay at home mom, and I absolutely love it. I love reading, although I start and stop every couple of years, lol. Catherine is definately one of my absolute favorite authors, and I love all of her books. I do hate waiting for them to come out, though. I have no patience. Lol. Anyways, I'm happy to be on here, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it immensely. |

Wow, it's been a while since I have posted. Sierra is my web name and answer to that or Sharon. I have been a member for a long time and hopefully will post alot more than I have been lately. I am married to Jack and we have two grown sons who live in other states. I am a grandma to three, 2 boys and 1 girl. We celebrated our very first christmas with the grandchildren this year when we made the trip to Arkansaw. It was a great trip and I hadn't seen the grandchildren in almost a year. I slip and fell while there and bruised my tailbone pretty bad and couldn't wak or sit for several weeks. Luckily I didn't break it as the Dr. originally thought. But it's healing and I am finally able to sit at the computer for a half hour or so. I used to live in Florida but moved to South Carolina almost two years ago. I do like it here but it a a tourist town so the traffic gets bad during the summer so we stick pretty close to home because we really don't know the area yet. I would love to move to Arkansaw someday. I picked up my first Catherine Anderson book when I read her Indian Romance series and Ihave been hooked ever since. I do alot of reading and have several other authors that I like but Catherine is my favorite. I hope to get to know some of the new girls and catch up on things with the older members Sierra |

Welcome, Maria!!! And it's nice to see you posting Sharon!!! I'm glad you're feeling better after your fall. Ok...I'm Christy, 31 years OLD (feel old and tired today!!!) and I live in the great state of Mississippi, in the Tupelo area, you know - the birthplace of the King of Rock-n-Roll!!! Hey, it's our ONLY claim to fame around here!!! I work in sales and really do enjoy it, even though it is a very demanding job and right now more than ever as we work hard to grow our business in these tough economical times. The long hours each day and working 6 days a week has really slowed me down on my reading!!! I love to read (especially historicals and ESPECIALLY those of the Regency era) and my favorite thing to do is travel. I believe in the philosphy of Work hard, Play hard. So traveling is my way of playing hard! Last year my long-time dream of visiting England came true and I'm convinced more than ever that one day I'll live over there! In about 7 weeks, I'm leaving for Ireland. So I can't wait to see what awaits us there! I don't have any kids...only dogs, lol....but they are probably as spoiled as kids!!! I have two rottweilers, almost 10-year old Bear and almost 2-year old Bella. In my opinion, for what it's worth, lol, rottweilers are the greatest breed ever!!! In fact, it's partly how I came to discover Catherine's books. When My Sunshine first came out, I was in the check-out line at Wal-Mart when I first noticed a big, bright yellow book and I flipped through it and saw the word "rottweiler" and read enough to know that rottweilers were a good part of this story so I bought the book and read it, thus getting me back into reading after years of reading maybe only 2 or 3 books a year because I just didn't have time, or so I thought! Anyway, that led me to discovering this board and THAT has been the biggest blessing of all. Not only finding Catherine as an author, but also finding this place where so many wonderful people get together and discuss so much!!! I have "met" wonderful people here and have actually met Joanne while visiting my favorite place in America last year, the Biltmore House in North Carolina!!! Well, that's enough...I've rambled on long enough!!! I'm going to do some laundry and then finish the last 4-5 chapters of the new Lynsay Sands book that I'm reading.... Hello all, My name is Janice. I'm 41 and I've been married to my wonderful husband Wes 45(I'll admit to meeting him online) for just over nine years. We live in Battle Ground Washington, a little north of Vancouver WA. I have two great boys, Mike 20 and Jeremiah 18, from my first marriage. I also have a grandson Theodore and another grandkid due to arrive in June. I don't remember ever learning how to read. The first book I checked out at the library when I was in Kindergarden was Little House in the Big Woods. I've read the Little House books over and over growning up and now collect the other Little House series. Laura was born almost exactly one hundred years before me, my younger son shares his birthday with her. I've always felt a kindred spirit with her and she is probably the reason my hair is long(to my fingertips) and worn always braided. Laura and Manly were my first romance story and I have always prefered historicals and westerns. My first CA book was Annie's Song (which is my favorite) and I've been hooked ever since, I may not post alot lately, but I check in now and then to see what's going on and to learn about new releases. I work two jobs, I've been a maintenance service tech at a large apartment complex in Vancouver Washington for almost 11 years. I also work evenings stocking freight at a local HomeDepot store. I'm tired. lol. I work two jobs because I was fortunate to be able to build our home a few years ago through a USDA rural housing program, it was 15 very long months. But I'm grateful for the oportunity to own my home and am determined not to risk loosing it! My husband is disabled with OA in his hips and has already had a total hip replacement when he was 43. He has tried to work but it is hard to find someplace willing to work with his hip problems and his ADHD. I actually prefer him to stay home since he often goes for days without sleeping and really shouldn't drive when he's been awake that long. Besides reading anything, I love gardening and crocheting afghans. I also have four dogs, well, right now a little more than that. I breed Labradoodles. I am allergic to cats and dogs and discovered labradoodles a few years ago. It's great being able to have dogs and not have to worry about asthma attacks and full blown allergy reactions. I had a hard time finding a breeder in my area and since my sister has bred beagles for years, I thought that I would breed Doodles. I have two Standard Poodles, my male Fritz and a female we resucced Mercedes, and two labradoodles, sisters, Gretchen and Hiedi. In December, Gretchen delivered our first litter of nine puppies. Today they are eight weeks old and the first one has gone to his new home. I'm going to miss them all when they go. Maybe more than my own boys when they left home, atleast they call me. Thank goodness for my husband to hold down the fort for me. It sure is nice to come to the BB's to see what's going on in the world beyong my little plot. Janice Janice Washington (USA) |

It sure felt good hearing how everyone is doing. There are still alot more who haven't posted yet. I have missed everyone but promise to post more often. We spent the night in Tupelo, Miss on or drive to Arkansaw. We were so close to you Christie. Had I have known I wood have gave you a call on the phone. We didn't get to the hotel until night and being strangers to your town we had a hard time finding out hotel with the excessive amount of traffic and not knowing where we were. But I suppose beling Elvis Presley's birthplace might have been the reason for all the traffic. How neat that you will be visiting Ireland and have also visted England. You are so fortunate. Good seeing your post also Janice. It's been awhile since your last post or should I say my post. I almost called you the other night Lynda. Don't be surprised to pick up the phone and find it's me on the other end. Take care everyone Sierra |

Drats, Sharon!!! You were here and I didn't even know it!!!! I would have loved to have met up with you and we could have stopped somewhere to grab some dinner! It's usually not that bad traffic-wise here, except for when the Furniture Market is in town. Tupelo is one of 3 cities across the States that hosts the Furniture Market each year. I'll bet you may have been in town during that... Well, if you ever come through Tupelo again, you must let me know!!! Hi all its been a long time since I have been on here so I will reintroduce myself: My name is Angie, I live in Louisiana, I have been married to my hubby Jay for almost 9 years. We have two kids, my son Jace is 7 and daughter Bella is 6. I am mainly a stay at home mom, although I do sub. teach on occasion. I love to read just about any book I can get my hands on. I have been addicted (as my mother calls it) to books since I was 3. I first discovered CA'S books about 4 years ago after I read Sweet Nothing. I loved it then went out and found and read anything I could find by her. I can't wait to get reaquainted with the old bb members and meet the new ones. Hope to chat with you all soon... Angie

Hi, I'm Kara and am a new reader of Catherine's books. Although once I started - I haven't been able to quit and my collection has grown by leaps and bounds!! (I think I own about 13 of her books) LOL. I am a mother of 4 (3 boys and 1 girl) ages 17, 15, 6, and 5. So, it is quite exciting around her. I am currently in school studying for my paralegal degree (one more quarter to go - Yay). I look forward to chatting with everyone here and getting to know Catherine better!!! Kara Cincinnati, OH |

Hi, my name is Holly and I am 35 years old. While I do not post on this board as much as I once did, I try to check-in/read posts at least a couple of times each week. Anyway, I was the “surprise” baby--my oldest brother graduated from high school six months before I was born. Cerebral Palsy confines me to a wheelchair. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister and live in a suburb of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul,) Minnesota with my mother and oldest brother--they both take care of me. My Dad passed away unexpectedly when I was 9; my brother and sister moved out about 20 years ago; Mark and I just stuck around. I work part time at a Community Support Program (CSP) for adults who have Serious and Persistent Mental Illnesses. CSPs provide a lot of different services, but I primarily do recreational activities--mostly games, and facilitate a weekly Support Group. My 10th anniversary at this job will be in September--I love my work. My first romance novel was Fine Things by Danielle Steel and I have been hooked on romance ever since. Baby Love was my first of many Catherine Anderson books and she is now my favorite author. Just a word about my signature: In general, I am not a baseball fan…however, I loved Kirby Puckett. In the days immediately following Mr. Puckett’s death, the local news played this clip from his retirement news conference (along with “We’ll see ya tomorrow night!” from the 1991 World Series) over and over. I realized then how true that statement was; it has kind of been my motto ever since. "Tomorrow's not promised to any of us."--Kirby Puckett (1960-2006) Holly |

LAST EDITED ON Mar-03-09 AT 09:09 PM (EST) I'm actually a new reader/member to the CA site. My first book was Star Bright. I just finished it on Sunday and I'm Jones'n for more! So last night I went on Amazon.com and ordered more. Sun Kissed and Morning Light I'm really excited to read, because I'm in love with the Harringon family. So I hope to read more books with them in it. Let me tell you, once I opened Star Bright up I couldn't close it. I was in awe.Ok, so about myself. I live in Wisconsin. Actually on the Horicon marsh. Which is the biggest freshwater marsh in the world. I hunt, fish, camp. Oh yeah and I love to shop! But I guess I found my new adventure...reading Catherine Anderson's books! haha. I'm 29 and holding. I have an 8 year old daughter named Savanna. I'm engaged to a wonderful man. I'm also on Facebook! Thanks, Catherine! |

Hello Everyone, I'm home all alone and went looking for some books of CA when I came accross her site here! Wow I get too almost meet Catherine Anderson!! Thank you for allowing me to join I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. I am Linda originally from NJ, moved to FL a year ago which I am retired. My oldest daughter Autum has 4 of my grandchildren who all still live in NJ. My youngest daughter Annette, son-inlaw, and youngest grandson lives 100 feet away and they are visting NJ for about a week so it's a little lonely around here except for my loveable cat Lucy. I love Roses! When I had my home in NJ I had 112 rose bushes in the garden so I am looking forward to starting a new collection here in FL. I also love doing stationery on the computer, I just graduated and got my diploma for writing scripts in html, now I am waiting to start my VBS scripting class. I also like photography, working on my website, and traveling. I never was a book reader I never found any books that would keep my intrest until this past year when I was getting bored and wanted to try something, so since I am a romantic person I said to myself let me try reading romance so off to the flea market I went with daughter and her Mother-inlaw who wanted to buy some books. Picked one up and said if she keeps my intrest and I can get through the whole book and remember what I read than she will be a keeper and she has ever since reading Summer Breeze! When I worked I worked with the mentally challenged in a State Insitution of all men who needed total care. I worked in a cottage of all blind men, some were in wheel chairs, and some could do for themselfs. So upon reading some of your books Catherine your characters went straight to my heart. Annies Song, Phantom Waltz, My Sunshine, and Blue Skies. I am so intrigued with your books I want to read every one that you have written and continues to write! I just ordered the Kindle 2 it will be here on the 5th, the first book I am buying to read on it is Star Bright! Does anyone else have 1 of these and if you do how do you like it? Well I think I chatted your ears off so going to go read some more of Keegan's Lady. :) To Having A Great Day! Roselady Linda |

I'm a new reader of Catherine's books. A friend I work with and I trade books around and she picked up "Sweet Nothings" and read it, then brought it to me. In looking at the book I noticed it was part of a series and I'm pretty particular about reading series in order so I told her we'd start collecting the rest of the books. I have them all now and have read "Baby Love" and about half done with "Phantom Waltz". I am really enjoying these books. I've also picked up a few other Catherine Anderson books not in the series. They are still in the to-be-read pile, but looking forward to them as well. I'm 49 years old, married 25 years to Mike. We have one son who is 23 and serves in the US Navy out of Norfolk, Virginia. We have many nieces and nephews who keep us on our toes. I read a lot. I like Linda Lael Miller, Diana Palmer, Debbie Macomber, Lori Foster, Joan Johnston, etc. Now I've added Catherine to my list. I am Grace and I live in Paris, Texas. I have been reading since I was 4 years old and love to get lost in a great book. I am married and have 6 kids. Three boys and three girls. Ages 20, 19, 16, 15, 13, and 11. I work in a Home Health Care office and swap books with the girls I work with, except for my "keepers". They don't leave the house, lol. My favorite authors are Catherine, of course, Linda Lael Miller, Judith McNaught, Johanna Lindsey, and Julia Quinn. My favorite heroes would have to be almost every one of Judith McNaught's, lol. I lost my older sister a little less than a year ago to domestic violence. It is a tragedy that I will never get over, but I am learning to live with it. So, it is a cause that is of great importance to me. We have one dog, a bulldog, whose name is Asia. She is like one of the kids. We also have one cat, Lola, and she runs the house. I have made many wonderful and lifelong friends through reading and this is the best place! Grace Paris, Texas |

Amina, you do much better in English than I could ever do in Russian. I am so sorry to learn you were widowed so young. Life can deal cruel blows. I'm so glad you joined the board. I like Judith McNaught's work, too. Of course, "Whitney My Love," is a special favorite. Best wishes, and welcome. |

Hello ladies! I still consider myself fairly new here. I am 31 years old and I have a total of 7 children and a german shepherd named, Rory (after the Gilmore girls sitcom) Saying that little bit I am fairly busy but I take time to read as much as I can. I've been reading for the better part of my life and romances have always been my escape. I probably should have stated this in the beginning, my name is Sheree and took on the name Montana because my stepson picked it due to Hannah Montana lol. My favorite authors range from Catherine Anderson, Judith McNaught, Diana Palmer, Linda Lael Miller, Nora Roberts and some Debbie Macomber books. I've recently became addicted to vampire romance novels. If you haven't given this genre a chance--I cannot stress enough how enjoyable these books are!! But beware they are addicting!! I am very grateful for this forum since I do not have many friends who share in my desire for reading!!Montana Seminole, OK Sheree Seminole, OK "I'm exactly right for you,Bella. It would have been effortless for us-comfortable, easy as breathing. I was the natural path your life would have taken...." Jacob Black "Twilight" |

Hi Everyone, My name is Kathy and mostly go by the nickname Rabbit. I am married to Phil and thanks to the girls on this board he has the nickname of knees as he wears shorts all year around. We have 3 children 2 sons and a daughter. Our eldest son is married so we get another daughter. We are both retired and absolutely loving it. Last year we did a 8 week trip to America. Nova Scotia and Hawaii, the highlight for me was visiting Prince Edward Island and seeing Anne of Green Gables cottage. And meeting up with some of the girls from this board. We have done a few trips in Australia since coming back not as many as we would like because of ill health and looking after my mother who is bedridden in a Nursing Home and it being winter. I live in Sydney, Australia and have debated about moving away to somewhere quieter and nearer the beach but i would miss my family and friends too much so we are staying put. We may downsize our house but will still live in this area. We have great drs where we can just walk in without having to make an appointment and hospitals. And of course my hairdresser. Worse thing is trying to break in a new one. And also our library is getting better and are buying more books that i like so what more could i ask for. Thats about all for me. Kathy |

Hello! I'm Teresa and I'm from Portugal. I live in the South margin of Tejo River and work in the north, which means in Lisboa. I'm and Office Assistant in the Telecommunications Area. I married with 21 and I've been married 21 years (or will be, next October); me and my husband José, who is informatic manager, have one 18 yo boy and a 11 yo girl. I'm quite recent in my love and admiration towards Catherine (as a person and a writer) as her books have only started being published in my country recently... but as my husband says I did well in catching up with all before published and have been reading and falling in love with Catherine's writing. I (had to ) made a pause because I tend to be so in-love about her writing that I can't even figure in trying others; but this Christmas I have the Comanche two books on my wish-list to hubby... if I manage to wait until then eheheheheh. Regards from Portugal, Teresa Teresa Lisbon - Portugal |

Hi everyone! My name is Lindsay and I am from Lynchburg, VA. I have been coming to Catherine's website for a while now getting updates on book releases, but have just recently found the discussion boards. I am 24 years old, married for 2 years, with a 9 year old stepson. I enjoy many things when I'm not working as a secretary for my in-laws company, from doing nothing at all (which isn't very often) to reading, cooking for family and friends, and many outdoor activities. I am a huge fan of all of Catherine's books, and cannot say what my favorite would be, because each is unique and absolutely wonderful in it's own way. I am looking forward to visiting the boards and seeing what new topics everyone is talking about! Ya'll have a good day! Lindsay M. Lynchburg, VA |

I've been a romanceaholic since I was a teenager. Now twenty years of marriage and eight children later, I still am insatiable. I love CA's books and want to raise my three boys to be that good of husbands, brothers, friends. Right now I have a twelve year old that is challenging me with serious dearth in social skills mainly directed at his poor seventh grade teachers. He doesn't seem fazed by their power to fail him.....aaaaaah. Kerry |

Hi, Sharon! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will do so often. I have two children, too, both boys, and at this writing, three wonderful grandsons ranging in age from ten to two and a half. All three are rascals, just like their dads. Two of them live in New Zealand, so I don't get to see them as often as I would like, but the third one is close by. No granddaughters on the horizon yet. I wouldn't trade the boys for the world, but once in a while I find myself looking with longing at the pink bows and ruffles and flounces in the little girls' clothing sections. I'm so glad you enjoy my work and thank you for taking the time to post. I'm really excited for this new book to be released in January, and I'm starting work on the next book, a historical that features David Paxton. |

HELLO LADIES!!!!! It has been a while. My name is Tina. Many of the long timers might remember me. I live in MI with my 7 year old daughter, Sasha, my husband of 16 years Loni and my 9 year old Huskey, Shinook. To all you long timers, I have sooo missed talking with you and Catherine. I still do not have internet at home, but I am working on it. As of May of this year, I am unemployed. So I go to the local library to job hunt and get books! So I wanted to pop in and say hi. Sasha is doing wonderful. She does well in school and is the joy of my life. She loves to read and has a mind of her own, takes after her mommy there. She still has most of the items that were sent to her when she was born. I will take them down and tell here they were sent to her by mommy's freinds at Catherines b.b. I want you all to know that I think of you often and miss you dearly. I will make an honest effort to come in and try to post weekely. For those of you that still have my email address, shot me and email and I will send updated pictures. To Catherine and all those I have not had the pleasure to meet yet, it is wonderful to see how much this has grown durring my time away. Hey what can I say, great minds think a like. Catherine is a wonderful author and it is sooo nice to see so many others agree. Well, I need to go for now. I hope to talk with you all soon. God bless each and everyone of you. Kind Regards, Tina G.

Tina, it is wonderful to hear from you again! I've missed you and I am so grateful for the updates. You're a very important part of our online family. Best of luck with your job hunt. So many people all over the country are hurting and unable to find work. Please keep all of your friends here posted. We're all rooting for you. I'd love to see pictures of Sasha when you get a chance. I can't believe she's seven years old. It seems like we turn around and blink and the kids -- and in my case, grandkids -- have added at least six inches to their heights. Stop over at the contest information on the Bulletin Board and shoot me an entry, and be sure to check out the fantastic recipes. How about sharing some special favorites of your own? We'd love it, and you could win an autographed book. I'm so glad you're back. Keep in touch. Catherine

Hello All! I am the new girl. Catherine and Michelle encouraged me to peek my head over and introduce myself. I'm Cindy, I'm 34 years old living in Sunny (though not at the moment) Southern California. I'm a redhead who talks a lot so forgive me if this is a rambling post. And I am really horrible at writing bios. OKAY...lets see...I'm a bit of an arts junky. I was in performing arts for years studying musical theater before I felt that it wasn't my calling so I switched majors to costume design. I was a costume designer a good deal of my life before burn out got a hold of me. I then started working for an art museum. I love sketching, sewing, and singing very loudly while playing Rock Band. Definitely a jack of all trades, master of none. I met my husband Max when I joined the SCA (aka Society of Creative Anacronisims, aka medieval renacting). Its a long and hilarious story full of me being nurotic and him looking at me as if I were covered in lizards. Max is a fantasic guy who truly seems to "get" me. We're both big geek types and while I'm high strung and passionate, he's far more even keeled and mellow. I call him my white noise. We'll be married for two years tomorrow but have been together for six. We have no children but I am the aunt of three of the cutest boys you could imagine. And I spoil them all rotten. I always considered myself quite an oddball but frankly, I kinda like that about me. Looking forward to talking to you all! It will be fun to bond with other romance fans. Cheers! Hey Cindy Good to see you posting! You seem very creative, i am very boring in comparison. We are all different on here as you will find out. I was a bit more nuts but my illness as i call it has chilled me out. Sounds like you have a terrific husband. I am married with a daughter who is 5 going on 16. This is a good place for chats, i normally keep to myself even with my friends but on here i seem to let it all out. So don't be afraid to yourself. Have you read the Coulter stories yet? As you may find out and others know on here i am a nutter and totally in love with Jake Coulter. He is stuck in my head. Good to see you on here. I have a cousin in california, that i am desperately hoping to visit one day. Take care. xxx Michelle Wales (UK) |

Hi Michelle! Thanks again for the warm greeting. Unfortunately for some, once you get me started with the talking, I tend to never stop. I'm half Italian so I suppose its in the genes. Max is a pretty spiffy guy if I do say so myself. He's a goofball and makes me laugh until I hurt. Humor is a huge part of who I am so that is something I love about him. He also cooks VERY well ...which I do not (I burn tea). He found the fastest way to my heart is indeed through my stomach. Max is a keeper. But then I am biased since I married the lug. Okay okay, I'm going to stop gushing now before I get sappy.I have not yet read the Coulter series. I am mainly a historical romance gal. But honestly, I will probably dabble in the Coulter series since I really enjoy Catherine's writing. Needless to say, they're going on the list. So far I have to say Ace Keegan still has my heart. He reminds me of a combo of my husband Max and my father. Once again, thanks for the greeting! Hopefully I won't talk all your ears off too much. Cheers! Cindy, one of my closest friends has one daughter who is going back to college to be able to teach drama, and her other daughter is a career fashion designer back east. She's always been fascinated with costume design. Maybe I should hook the two of you up! This is my official welcome to the website! We're glad you're here. After that lead-in you have to know some of are waiting breathlessly for the whole story on you and Max and the midieval re-enacting...hint, hint. I have nieces and nephews I love, three fantastic grandsons, two grown boys and one wonderful daughter-in-law, and an incredible husband whom I've had longer than you've been alive. I freely admit to spoiling all of them. And I love it. Oddball? Not at all. You're individualistic. A much better word! Keep the posts coming, girlfriend. Catherine Anderson

Thanks for that catherine, i suppose i am not completely boring i just get a little entusiastic sometimes. Especially about "my Jake".And i used toabout my job. Oh how i miss the people from my job. Just wait until you read the coulters Cindy i promise you will love them. But Jake is mine. I only read historicals, but Catherine's books are the exception. It is nice you are so obviously loved up with your husband. Mine is a strong, hardworking and don't share your feelings type of guy. Well just like my daddy, he even has the same name! But my hubby is trustworthy and is there if i need him and he puts up with my rheumatoid which makes him my hero. Keep posting! Michelle Wales (UK) |

Hi Cindy Do you like books about knights etc. I love them too. I have a few authors i am fond of. Yes i alive in the South of Wales in a seaside town. It used to be a holiday resort and a shipping port but all that has changed now. I live in a town that the series Gavin and Stacey was filmed in. I have met a few canadians who say they have it viewed in canada. Alot of wales as you go into the montains in beautiful. I went to florida in may to get married. On the way home we landed in England and drove home the long way round through all the countryside and the mountains. It was gorgeous. They said you know when you are home in Wales when you can see and smell the mountains. There are some beautiful places here and some places forgotten by the government. I as surprised when i was in America how many people actually knew of Wales. I love my country. Keep in touch on here. There is a book club too where you change chat about books and discuss catherine's books and other authors. I have pre ordered Catherines next book and am waiting for it and i wish David's story would be here soon! Michelle Wales (UK) |

Catherine> Thank you for the warm welcome! Everyone seems really friendly so I'm sure I'll have a good time poking around. If your friend's daughter is looking for info on costume design, I'm happy to help! Granted, I worked in smaller type theaters, children's theater, and one low low LOOOOOOW budget short film but I'd be willing to share whatever is in my brain. If anything, I have some great war stories to share. I tend to wear the term Oddball with pride. My mom likes to call our family "Delightfully Eccentric". I love my family. We're a unique group induviduals. I really couldn't ask for a better one. I also would like to state that it is slightly surreal that an author who I have been reading for a couple years now just asked me to share the story on how I met my husband. Its AWESOME...but surreal. But be warned, its a long story involving me being convinced that my husband was a stalker and be giving him fake descriptions of myself. I like to think my paranoia at the time was well founded. And our engagement involved me letting out a stream of surprised curse words that later on became legendary in our SCA barony. If you want to hear it, I'd be happy to share. *is little miss chatter box today and is blaming the coffee* Cindy Art Stuff http://cinsangel.deviantart.com/ Sewing Stuff http://community.livejournal.com/costumenonsense/

Hello, my name is Evelyn. I'm 46 years old and live in Germany. I love books since I learned to read at first grade. When I was little my grandma read fairy tales to me every evening and at fourth grade I won a reading competition at my elementary school. I love to cook. But baking is not my cup of tea. I like music (Country, Rock, classical). If you have any questions - not hesitate and ask.

I've been haunting this site for a while now so I figured I probably ought to go ahead, register and jump in. I'm a Catherine too but on the web I use the handle sonria (which means: smile!) and I'll answer to either. I am a proud eastern North Carolinian -- barbecue is NOT red -- who moved to Atlanta in 2006. I usually refer to myself as a crazy cat lady in training because I've been divorced and kid-free for over 10 years, and figure I'm likely to stay that way. I spend time indulging the whims of my cat instead. I ran into My Sunshine sometime after I moved to Atlanta and I. Was. Hooked. Since then I've hunted up all of the other Kendrick/Coulter/Harrigan stories and I started haunting this site to watch for new ones! Smiles make sunshine wherever they are. |

My owner, you mean? I'll post more in cat tales but she's a silver tabby that has me wrapped around her little white paws. She was an "oops kitten" from a friend of mine who thought her cat was spayed.... A couple days after the litter was born I told her I'd take one of the females but wasn't picky which one. She chose my kitty based on our personalities and it was a perfect choice. My friend had named her Emily and it fit, so I kept it. Yes, I had her spayed. NO, I didn't have her declawed. But I was pretty strict with her about the clawing from day one, and people now compliment me on the lack of clawed-up furniture in my house. Smiles make sunshine wherever they are. |

Hi everyone. I've lurked here for a while now, and finally decided to register after reading Here to Stay this morning. About me...well, I tend to think that I'm rather boring. I'm a third year college/university/whatever you so choose to call it student (double majoring in English and American Studies) in California. I spend most of my time reading and writing for school. Luckily, I enjoy most of it. Every so often, I get to throw a fun book into the mix, just for pleasure. Random trivia: Catherine's Sweet Nothings was the first book that I read from the non-kids/teens section of the public library years ago, so her books have always had a special place in my heart. When I'm not reading and have free time, I do a lot of sewing. I'm in the process of slowly restoring a 1917 Singer treadle machine into working order. Stephanie California |

I live in central California and have been a romance reader for many years. I'm dating myself here, but the first Harlequins I read made you go through just about the whole book before the hero and heroine even kissed! That was okay by me because I was just fourteen when I began reading them. My current "keeper" library has about 1000 books in it, many of which have been shipped all over the country with me multiple times. Of course, Catherine Anderson books are included in that number. But I have eclectic reading tastes...history, biography, current events, true crime, etc., as well as romance. I've worked with animal rescue organizations in several states and have been told I have a special way with both cats and horses. With individual exceptions, I'm not a doggy person. I also love all types of birds, wild and domestic, and every farm animal that ever breathed, except llamas that spit and mean bulls that make me sprint for the fence. I like to cook, and I think the recipe section of this website is a great idea. I've put up some of our favorite recipes, and found some delicious new ones that my family requests regularly. Thanks, to those who contribute. I'm glad to hear that Catherine has no plans to retire. I've just finished "Here To Stay," which I snatched this morning, and I'm already panting to get my hands on the still-in-production story of David Paxton. Katlin |

LAST EDITED ON Feb-01-11 AT 02:42 PM (EST) Hello everyone!Well, this is my first time here, so i hope i´m doing well. You have to excuse my writing, i´m spanish so my english is not exactly brilliant:) My name is Covadonga ( I know it sounds weird//lol ), i´m 27 years old, and i´m a teacher in elementary school. I live in a beautiful town in Spain, surrounding by mountains and near the sea. I just came one month ago from London, where i´ve been living seven months working and studying english (quite difficult to me:'( ) I started to read Catherine´s books one year ago. Someone told me about Annie´s Song, and i decide to bought it. That was my first time reading in english, but i love romance novels, so i decided to give it a shot. I just fell in love with the story, and i began to read more of her books. My favourite one (until now) is Baby Love:* Right now i´m reading Indigo Blue and i love it! Indigo is such a strong and touching character, and i can´t wait to read Comanche Magic! May seems to me so far away... So, Catherine, thanks for your wonderful books:) Covadonga F. Asturias, Spain |

Welcome, Covadonga! Trust me, your English is far, far better than my Spanish! English is a difficult language to learn because it's not logical, and I think you're doing brilliantly. Are you originally from Spain? What made you decide to go to England? Was it specifically to study English? What grade do you teach? Did you know that Indigo Blue is the third in what is known as the Comanche series? The first one is Comanche Moon, the story of Hunter Of The Wolf and Loretta, Indigo's parents. The second, Comanche Heart, is the story of Swift and Amy. Thank you for writing, and I hope you will post often. We have a recipe swap that rotates recipes on a monthly basis and I know lots of us particularly love international recipes. Do you have a favorite you could share with us? Catherine Anderson |

Thanks Catherine for answer me! It is a pleasure to meet you:) Yes, i am originally from Spain, i live in the north part of the country. I went to England to improve my english, I have a degree in paedagogy and teaching, but i specially like early childhood, about 3-6 years. I wanted to teach in english, now that here in Europe became the main language to understand each others, and i have the oportunity to do that. My first though was to go to Scotland, i have a very special relation with this place, i have lots of scottish friends because i was living there one summer few years ago. But the weather in Scotland is quite bad in winter, and i am not use to it, so i decided to go to London insted//lol Well, Comanche Moon was the second book i read of you:) I think is my favorite one after Baby Love. We have only two of your books translate to spanish, Comanche moon and Annie´s Song, and lots of people really want more of your books translate to spanish!! not everyone is able to read in english:-( I am gonna try to give some of my favorite recipes, altough i am not the best cooker in the world! But we have some delicious food in Spain and i will try to share with you all. Covadonga F. Asturias, Spain |

LAST EDITED ON Feb-03-11 AT 04:06 PM (EST) Hi, My name is Kelsie!I just joined, but pretty sure that I am almost the youngest one here, turning 18 in September. I grew up in a military family so we have moved all my life. But I mainly grew up in Alaska. I miss it up there so very much, right now my dad retired in Minnesota. I have an older sister you just turned 21, me and her are as close as sisters can be. Im planing on going to college in Washington or Oregon, they are sorta like Alaska, but not so cut off from the rest of the world. I want to double major in Childhood Education and Culinary arts, and minor in Language. I adore traveling and I'm hoping to do that sometime in my life, as well as having kids. P.S. I have this crazy little dream of meeting the perfect cowboy.

Let's see.... My name is Stephanie Gilbert. I go by Steph most of the time, but I have many knick names. One of them being Pooh.I'm 32 years old. (Just turned on Feb.12th!) I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 10 1/2 years. (We've been together for 14) I have two beautiful children. An 8 year old daughter, Keylee. (Pronounced Key...Lee. So many people call her Kaylee!) And a 4 year old boy, Kaiden. We also have a one year old Yorkie named Missy!! We live in a very rural community in Indiana. (Between Fort Wayne and Indianapolis) Both my husband and I were born and raised here. I currently stay home with the kids, but I do have a degree in radiography. I also have a cosmetolgy license. Just some random stuff: I'm a horrible cook! But I can bake pretty good. I'm on the short side...standing at a whole whopping 5' tall. But I make up for it in attitude. Hee..hee!! I love to read (obviously!!) and I love to decorate. I've recently decided to start eating healthier. I've noticed that my family has HORRIBLE eating habits, so I have decided that enough is enough! I've been buying fresh and organic as much as possible and I have been researching recipes that are healthy. I'm hoping this all goes over well! I have no living siblings. My only brother passed away several years ago. He had cerebral palsy. I miss him dearly. My parents divorced when I was only a year old. My mother raised me alone. My husband and I have decided to start traveling more. Neither of us have traveled/vacationed much, so we are ready to see the world! We are planning on taking the kids on a Disney cruise this year. Not sure where next year will take us yet. Any suggestions? So that's all I can think of for now!! Hope you all are having a great day!! Steph |

Welcome to tbe website, Steph! If you find any really good organic recipes we'd love to have you share them with us, and if you have any favorite recipes for baked goods...well...all of us would be grateful for that! Later in their lives your children will truly understand how lucky they were that circumstances allowed mom to be at home with them. Loved your remark about attitude making up for lack of inches. I have a very small cat named Sissy who looks in a mirror and thinks she sees a lioness! We say she has Sissy-tude. What do you enjoy reading? Catherine Anderson |

Sissy-tude! Ha!! Love it! I haven't come across too many organic recipes just yet. And buying organic in my small little community is proving to be a challenge. I can find some stuff...just not a lot. I think we're gonna put out a large garden this year so we can grow our own and can the remains. Wish me luck! Hee.hee! I have found some pretty good low cal/low fat recipes that are awesome, though. I'll share them as I taste test!! I mainly read love stories/romance. I like to read something that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! One thing I don't like about romance novels, though is they tend to get a little predictable. The story line may be different in each book, but you know the couple is gonna end up together! Maybe that's why I like Only by Your Touch so much. A lot of the details totally slapped me in the face....didn't see them coming at all! I also enjoy Christian fiction. A lot of times scripture is integrated into the story line and I love that! I need all the reminders I can get. And it never fails....the books always tend to be just what I needed to hear at the time. They provide a lot of insight for me. A different perspective to life, I guess you could say. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? (Assuming you have any!!) Steph |

My younger son, John, lives close by, Steph, and when his son Joshua is visiting him I also get to see my oldest grandson. My older son, Andy, his lovely wife Mary, and their two boys Liam and Jonas, live halfway across the world in New Zealand. (Yes, they are fine.) We Skype with them at least once a week, so the boys know our voices and faces and there is no strangeness when they see us in person. |

Hi everybody! I've been here for a week or two and am loving the boards already My name is Amanda. I am 22 years old and I live on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. And like Cindy I'm also half italian ( I understand when you say Italians go on and on ) I'm the youngest and have an older brother and sister. I used to play hockey and dance. I used to tell people I was a mashup of my brother and sister I'm a Pharmacy Technician, I make most of the blister packs. I never liked reading (unless you count Archie comics) until my elementary school secretary(who is also my friends mom) told me I should read Harry Potter when I was 12 or 13 and have loved reading ever since. I picked up Early Dawn, the first book by Mrs. Anderson I have read and read it in 2 days! I have since then been trying to get my hands on everything else she's written. My favourite so far is My Sunshine in the Coulter series and Forever After in contemporary ( I just love Goliath!!) I can't cook(except for BLTs) and can't tell stories very well as you can tell I keep rambling on and on. It's very nice to meet everyone! Amanda, Canada |

Hi everybody... I'm new here because my sister got me 'here to stay' during her visit of the USA. Books were with me ever since I can remember anything. First my mom and dad read to me, then I started on my own. My favourites now at the age of almost 28 are Diana Gabaldon and Rebecca Gablé. Reading is my favourite pastime on trains, which I have to use a lot visiting my boyfriend on weekends. He owns a farm, so I'm the one moving around. Looking forward to end this situation when I finish my thesis. I studied veterinary medicine and plan to treat mostly horses. I own two rabbits, almost 7 year old floppy eared Runaway Jenny and 1 year old Broesel (Crumb). The names are descriptive. In my spare time i read a lot, as I said before, do some drawings or knit socks. I'm addicted to horses, so when I'm not riding, I'm out with my bf and his two Haflingers, Annemie and Alina, and his cart. Annemie is a speed monster. She trains her hind quarters eating plums from the tree standing on her hind legs. And she doesn't like to be overtaken, so she's just as fast as any big horse (herself being 1,42m at the withers).
