Thank you Catherine. Tim had his 3rd chemo treatment yesterday and it went fine...even better because on Wed he had a port put in his chest so they could access his veins without having to put an IV in his arm. He has had little side effects, but last night he just didn't sleep well, so hope that is not a new side effect!
Today our daughter is coming over and we are having a 'buzz party'...he says he wants to have all his hair shaved off before it falls out...they say with this chemo combo, it will fall out. It has not shown any signs of falling out yet, but he says he wants to do this and if it growns back, well fine!
Over all we are both doing good, just pray that this chemo combo is going to work! We won't know till early to mid March when he gets another CTscan done. The Oncologist wants to get at least 8 treatments into him before then.
He has one more dilation of his esophagus this coming Wed. After that it will not be good to do it as the chance of bleeding will become too high. He is doing pretty good with eating so we hope this next one will improve even more. He still can not eat too much though.
Thank you for your continued support...you know how much we love you and everyone here.
I ordered Lucky Penny last night from Amazon, so it should soon be here. 'Tinker Barb' is here in town for a local RWA meeting and I'll be meeting up with her on Sunday. She says she has an ARC copy for me but forgot to bring it! I just may hit her over the head when I see her (joking). She is going to mail it to me when she gets home then I'll have that one for my collection and the book I'll put in my lending library....after I read it!
