I turned 30!!!!

And i had my hair cut off into a bob. Looks okay and i can always grow it again.

I wanted to get al the damaged hair out and i have it tied back mainly for the winter so it doesn't make a difference. My mum did lan a family bbq for my birthday but it rained. so we ate in the house, tiny house too lol.

My hairdresser looked very distressed when i told her cut it all off as was pretty far down my back. I have thick hair and it takes along time to dry and my hair is naturally and infusion of colours. I will grow it again but feel in much better conditon because alot of bleach has been cut out.

My hair touches my legs. I always wear it in a braid, so most people never really see how long it is. I thought about cutting and have worn it short in the past. The only reason I would cut it now is if I ever had lice. After I separated from my first husband, my sons went to spend the weekend with him, they were 3 and 6 months, they brought home lice. It was horrible. I got it of course before I even knew they brought it home.

Catherine has seen my hair when i sent her my wedding photos. I naturally have thick wavy hair with lots of different colours in it mainly fair with bits of red and blonde and what i call a mousy colour which my hair dressers call dark blonde. It has always been long. And people always went on about it and how they loved it and wanted thick hair. Because i suffer with psoriasis it proved a nightmare. And after my sister made a comment that all i had going for me was my hair! (can you believe that) i had it cut off. My hairdresser kept begging me not to and i said winter is coming it will be tied back and will have grown by the summer.

When i rang everyone to tell them i had cut it off i got told off. I i said it is my hair and i want to try it especially while my psoriasis is bad as took over 1 hour to dry it.

I quite like it although i did miss my long hair when i went out and a few people have said it looks smart. I was just fed up of being told what to do and felt rebellious lol.
I am watchign my daughter for head lice now she is back in school i braid her hair as best i can. She has very fine hair like my sisters.

   I had to laugh at your hair story Michelle, only because it made me think of Molly hacking off her hair to spite Jake in Sweet Nothings and I know how much you love that book!

Lol oh yeah. Maybe i had a flash back what do u think? I have wanted to do this for years but everyone has put me off doing it. Maybe Molly gave me the courage. I will start getting abit worried if anything else similar happens. Although i wouldn't mind a handsome cowboy leaving sweet nothings on my door step lol. At least i didnt do it myself lol!

Not that we blame you.....Jake is one fine specimen of a man! I just picked up Sweet Nothings a week or two ago and read a big chunk of it again. It's one of those I can go back to over and over again and always get caught up in it.
