I really liked Dear John. Im feeling so-so about the movie because so many times movies just don't live up to the books imo. I just finished Susan Wiggs' Just Breathe. Its a very touching book, which I loved. Susan Wiggs is growing on me, her novels have a very down-to earth vibe to them... touching and realistic, and are a good lite read. I think I am going to pick up either a Julia Quinn or Mary Balogh next... I'm feeling kinda like a historical now. |

In the last week or so I have read Susan Wiggs Chicago Fires Trilogy: The Hostage, The Mistress and The Firebrand. I also read Charm School (I think that's the correct title) by Susan Wiggs. Today I received in the post Laura Kinsale's "Lessons in French" I'll start that book tonight. Happy reading everyone! Dianne, Australia |

Kathy, the books were very good. I have loved everything I have read of Susan Wiggs. I own 22 SW books and haven't been disappointed once - mind you I still have a few of them I haven't had a chance to read yet! I particularly liked The Firebrand - I like books that involve children especially when they are as well written as this book was. I saw on her website that she has a new book out soon. I'll wait until it is in paperback though. Dianne, Australia |

Lee, which one is that?...I It's where she comes home to Land that her Mother owned... The McLean's Family has been looking after it for her... She has her little brother to look after... And meets a lady and her little daughter in a motel... The woman doesn't like what work she is doing and goes to live with Summer and her brother on there land... The McLean's land is very self sufficent... Slater has a Scar on his face from the man that murder his Pa... Reminds me a lot of "Forever Victoria"... Jules also have a look on f/b at u'r friends request... I sent u a friends request for AH on there... Her and I have been sending a few inbox msgs to each other... She is really a lovely lady... And by memory I think she is currently writing another historical... Lee NSW, Australia... |

I don't think I own Lakeshore Christmas - I'll have to check. She is a wonderful author Kathy. Her covers are very good aren't they. Joan, how are you liking Forbidden Falls? I absolutely loved this book - mind you I have loved everything Robyn Carr has written. I read a review on this book and I had to disagree with everything that was written. Obviously this person didn't like it that much but conceded that RC fans would love it! A few days ago I planned to start Lessons in French by Laura Kinsale but decided against starting a new book since I have to return to work tomorrow. Being engrossed in a book would make returning to work just that little bit harder to do! I've been revisiting all my favourite scenes from the books I have loved the most. I do this when I don't have time to start a new book. Dianne, Australia |

LAST EDITED ON Jan-26-10 AT 00:53 AM (EST) Hello,Right now I'm re-reading Catherine Andersons Comanche series. Tomorrow I will go out and buy the new releases that I've been waiting for for what seems like forever. Linda Lael Miller, Robin Carr, Kay Hooper, Beverly Barton, and Allison Brennan all have new books coming out. I just finished re-reading all of Robin Carr's Virgin River and Grace Valley books along with the newest one. Re-reading them is like going back to visit old friends. Over the last few years I have been keeping most of the books I buy because I really do enjoy reading them more than once. Used books stores are great for finding older releases of some of my favorite authors that have series out there that I haven't read in ages. Terri Terri |

Terri isn't Robyn Carr wonderful! The Virgin River series just keeps on getting better - she is an amazing author. I own almost all of her books except for some of the out-of-print books. I have my fingers crossed that they will be re-released very soon. Like you, I keep all of my books so you can imagine what my place is like. My daughter is moving out of home to go to university in a few weeks time and I have great hopes of putting a sofa bed into her room (so she has a bed when she visits home) and making her bedroom into a library for myself. A comfy chair and my books around me I think that would be the perfect place to get lost in one of my books! As you can imagine my daughter is not impressed! Happy reading, Dianne, Australia |
