Karen, WELCOME to CA's Discussion Board - I hope you enjoy your time here, I certainly do! Baby Love is one of my favourite CA books. They are all extremely good but there is something really special about Baby Love. I am sure you are going to enjoy all the CA books you've ordered. I own all but a few of the out-of-print books and have loved them all. Once again welcome to the BB. Dianne, Australia |

Welcome Karen...Gald you enjoyed Baby Love def one of my favs by Catherine....You should def try out Judith McNaught...her historicals are TO DIE FOR...you should start with Something Wonderful or Once and Always...both are great books...Almost Heaven is my fav but it kinda/sorta follows Something Wonderful in the secondary characters are the primary characters from SW...Make sense... Also Julia Quinn wrote a great series...Starts with The Duke and I and is about the Bridgertons...There is a book for each Bridgerton child... Then there is Johanna Lindsey-her Mallory series is also wonderful... ANDDDDDDDDDD of course Julie Garwood...Def read Saving Grace it is by far my favorite book EVER!!!... Now all of these are historicals but Julie Garwood has written a contemp series...it starts with Heartbreaker...that series is really good too... Jules I.C.B.B.W.I..... |

You have such similar tastes to mine. I just reread "Kingdom of Dreams" by Mcnaught and enjoyed it again. In Almost Heaven, the estrangement at the end seemed a little contrived. The rich standing on the backs of the poor was pretty standard knowledge back then. Would Elizabeth really run away because she was imformed of this. All the difficulties between Royce and Jennifer seemed believable. Since you have such similar tastes....what have you enjoyed lately? Kerry |
