"Western Romance Recommendations"

Hi Ladies-

I thought that I would get your opinions before I ordered books this time. I am once again getting ready to order some more books and wanted to see what you could recommend. I want western romance because that is my favorite. Either historical or contemporary, I like both. So, you tell me...which cowboy/gunslinger/texas ranger/rancher should I read about this time?

Laurie

My fav kind of books to...lol

Have u read the McKettrick's Series by Linda Lael Miller... Very addictive... And lots of books in this series...

I just finish reading "The Midwife" by Carolyn Davidson... Excellent read... Couldn't find a fault in it... Actually I think u would like her in general... I'm reading Gerrity's Bride by her atm... And it's good to... As is "A Convient Wife"...

Norah Hess...
Alexis Harrington...
Dorothy Garlock...
Jill Marie Landis has a few...

Let me think on this some more... I know there's more I can just can't think atm...

I would def recommend The Texas Trilogy by Lorraine Heath...Very very good books...My personal fav is the second book in the series BUT all three books are worth reading...

Also Dorothy Garlock has some great western romance books...Once again in her 3 series books...for some reason I ususally like one better than the others but all are good...

Sins of summer by DG is excellent...

Yesteryear is wonderful...

Ribbon in the sky another of my favs...not sure its "western romance" but still great...

hmmmm Love and Cherish by DG is good...

Connie Mason wrote a series about 3 brothers that is worth reading...I think thier names are Delaney...Here's the link...

I'm sure there are more...and I agree with Lee and her choices also..

Good Luck and let us know what you got...

Thanks for all the recommendations!

Lee - I have read and own every McKettrick book in the series. I love Linda Lael Miller! Have you read the first book of her new McKettrick of Texas series (Tate) yet? I really enjoyed it.

Kangel - I have read some Johanna Lindsey. I feel like her books are kinda hit and miss. Some I really enjoyed and others I thought were not well developed in terms of the characters. Do you have any that you found really good and would recommend?

Anyways...this is what I ended up getting:

Coming Up Roses - CA
Sweet Annie - Cheryl St. John
A Taste of Heaven - Alexis Harrington
The Delaney Series books - Connie Mason
Wild Abandon - Cassie Edwards
Raven - Norah Hess
Sweet Laurel - Millie Criswell

Hey Laurie, No I haven't read Tate yet... Is it good??? Here in Oz we have to wait forever it seems for books... But will definately be buying all 3... Love this series...

Next time u are wanting us to spend u'r money for u...lol Buy "Willow" by Norah Hess... Really a great read... As is "Kentucky Woman" by NH... Love both of these books...
