   Hi, there-

I've recently picked up some of Robyn Carr's Virgin River series. Years ago I read the very first one and it was very good, but haven't had time to keep up with them. Just the other day I found several titles used for a buck each, so I plan to try her soon.

Have you been reading Linda Lael Miller's new installments over the past couple years?

I'll be thinking about your request and see if I make any further recomendations for you that you may not have tried.

I have read all of Linda Lael Miller's books over the years. I have read the first one in her new series that just came out and I have the other two but I haven't read them yet. I also read the the first book in the Virgin River series a while back but I haven't read any of the others.

Western romance.

Def look up STACEY KAYNE.

Superb reading with humour too. she also does series. Def one of my favourite she was brilliant. Genell Dellin does lovely native american romance. I have read some by Rae Muir she was good too.

But stacey kayne a great read andi loved her style of writing. Ooh Heidi Betts has some great westerns too. worse reading honestly.

Western romance writing? There are many wonderful ones out there. Of course, Linda Lael Miller comes to mind right away. As a kid, I loved Zane Grey's books, especially Betty Zane. I was astounded to learn that hers was a true story.

I just reread one of Johanna Lindsay's westerns where the hero became a Texas Ranger or Marshall or something to track down his father's killer. He hired the heroine to help him track the killer. (She was Chandos daughter) if your are familiar with her other westerns. It was refreshing to have the heroine do most of the protecting, at least until he figured out that she was female. Johanna Lindsay is gifted in whatever time period she write. Her westerns are as good as her other books. Amazing versatility--Vikings, Russians, the English Mallorys, even off planet heros to enjoy.

Ooh which ones are they then?

i hate it with mills and boon as they always seem to rush the end when they are great stories.

Anything by Diana Palmer i would definitely recommend. Her stories are wonderful and all male protagonists are cowboys or black ops agents....or both I'll be looking up all these other authors everyone else has been recommending

I have been readign a few by dorothy Garlock which i have enjoyed. Did you try Stacey Kayne and Heidi Betts they are brilliant with humour in them. Stacey Kayne doesn't always picked the best looking girls either so i liked hers. A must read i would say.

In recent weeks I have found new authors to read which I highly recommend.

CAROLINE FYFFE- Where the Wind Blows & Montana Dawn

ELIZABETH LANE - The Substitute Bride, The Horseman's Bride, The Stranger, Christmas Moon

TANYA HANSON - Marrying Minda

MAUREEN McKADE - A Reason to Live

MARGARET BROWNLEY - Wind Song

I thoroughly enjoyed the above books - some more than others but I recommend all of them if you haven't already read them.

Dianne,
Australia
