There is a great book out if you are Catholic or interested in the Catholic faith. The name is FATHERLESS by Brian Gail. This book is the fictional account of a parish priest and 3 familes in his parish. It is set in the 1980's and discusses the various moral issues and dilemmas faced the characters. It is part of a trilogy. Book 2 was released in December - MOTHERLESS. I gave this book to friends for Christmas 2010 and all of them have really enjoyed it. My husband, who normally does not like fiction read it in 3 nights and cannot wait to re-read it.
It is a great books for Catholics, but I would also recommend it to people of other faiths as it explains a lot of the theology behind the faith.
That sounds interesting i have never noticed any books like this before. I used to be a catholic follower but i am not no longer. But always worth looking for something to read. Although i lost my faith in the catholic church a long time ago
