It's short, of course, since it is a novella that will be included in a book with several other short works. It's different than anything I've ever done before, but the story touched my heart and I found myself tearing up while I was working on it. I hope all of you enjoy reading it!

No, no relation to Patrick or any other characters I've ever written about. This one is quite a change for me, and I loved every moment of writing it. I hope you do, too.

It is strange how different characters reach out to different people.
I always remember when i was younger all my friends all fancied the same guys and i was complete opposite. I was always shy, but it wasnt until i got to know someone that i actually fancied them. I think personality shines through much more and a beautiful person can seem ugly the more you get to know their personality and vice versa.
But then i was always the strange one(so i use to be told).

I know what you mean, Michelle. Even some of the books I read as a kid still remain with me. For example, I vividly remember Kit in "The Witch of Blackbird Pond," and Nat Bowditch from "Carry On, Mr. Bowditch."

I just found the "True Love Wedding Dress" at the used book story downtown. It was such a treasure to find something I haven't read yet by Catherine. I read her story first even though it was the last in the book, but then I read the rest and also enjoyed them. It was a great book for that long winter vacation my children had. I could escape for a short while but not be so involved in a long book that I couldn't do something fun with the kids too.
I think I will reread "Keegan's Lady" next. It will make the time waiting for "Lucky Penny" go faster and get me caught up on the family.

"Keegan's Lady" is a great choice to read just before the release of "Lucky Penny," because Ace Keegan is the older half-brother of "Lucky Penny" hero David Paxton. Ace makes a definite appearance in his brother's book, so you will be able to do some catching up on his life.
