Thanks Lee, I will look for that book later - I actually have one of her books I just realised - I'll go and see which one it is. I own The Fulfilment. Have you read that one yet, if so what did you think of it? I bought it years ago and never read it. Dianne |

I am reading "The Heiress Bride" by Catherine Coulter Kristie, I finished The Aristocrat in like 5 min. It was very cute...It reminded me of a Kasey Michaels book....btw I found two KM's that I haven't read and am looking forward to....I love her humor. Mickey "Fugghedaboutit" |

Yep, it reminds me of KM as well. As I said, it isn't deep or weighty, but it is just a cute book that makes you smile practically the entire time you read it, and when you are done, you are a bit happier for a while!LOL!I am actually reading a non fiction book right now...just 150pages, so I will be done today and then I am going to try and re-start my Stella Cameron book. I just finished the "heiress bride" and that is almost it for all the Sherbrooke books....I have to find The Sherbrooke Twins" and then I will have read them all. I am always soooooo sad when I read about a family....so many books and then it's over. I will say that she really had her original H/H appear in all the other books which I really like as she knows this is what her readers want....UPDATES! However, I think this will be it. Don't know what is next on the agenda as I have quite a few library books and I really don't want any fees. Have to see what needs returning first. Mickey "Fugghedaboutit" |

There is another one after the Sherbrooke twins Mickey. Lion's Gate. One book is about the first twin and the second book about the second twin. Then of course, you have Wyndham Legacy I think it is and Valentine legacy which are loosely tied to the Sherbrooke's Lots more to read! Whenever you want to chat, I am ready!LOL! Kristie

I haven't been to the Book section in a while, but I have been reading! If you all like Susan Wiggs, her new one JUST BREATH is wonderful. She has another winner on her hands. I read a Heather Graham one after that...THE DEAD ROOM, not really my kind of book, but okay. She has done some wonderful books in the past, but she is getting into 'funny stuff'. I just got my hands on JoAnn Ross' new one CROSSFIRE. I picked up the 1st one in the series a while ago not having any idea what it was about but the cover caught my eye. The 1st one is FREE FALL and was great too. I'm trying to stock up for our trip to CT next week. Although in the van we listen to audio books (which we have been saving the good ones for), but in the evenings if we stay in a hotel room, I like to read some then.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-27-08 AT 12:02 PM (EST) Dianne, I really Like TM as well. I especially like her medievals...I have a few in my TBR pile that I picked up last time I went to goodwill.I am currently reading Number 8 Sandpiper Way ?????? I think the 8th installment of the Cedar Cove series by DM. ****Semi Spoiler****** I forgot how annoying the younger women of this town are. Does anyone else feel this way. I think Olivia, Grace, Peggie and Cora are all wonderful....Now I'll even add Faith even though she is new to CC.....However over the years reading this series...I've come to realize all the younger women are really self centered or were until the finally grew up...Point Justine (Olivia's daughter)...had to be the top of the list...I really think she needed a good smack on more than one occasion. Rosie...what she put her family through especially her husband...another smackable one. What really got me was how much she had no time for her family when she was a stay at home Mom...and couldn't understand why this was such a problem for her husband...but as soon as she wanted to divorce she goes immediately back to work...and all her all so important volunteering isn't so important anymore. MaryEllen (Graces Daughter)...My personal favorite for most smackable...the hell she put John through before they married and then all her interfering w/his Dad. I know it all ended well but still...few have gotten on my nerves more than her. Don't even start me on Meagan (Troy's daughter). And then there is Linnette (Corries Daughter)...I was actually glad when Cal broke up w/her! Never have I come across a more selfish charcter and now...we're supposed to feel sorry for her! To top it off...she is probably going to wind up with one of those darling Buffolo Valley men who deserve soooooooo much better...lol (I never felt so venemous towards a character who wasn't a villain). The only young ladies in this series who I actually respect are the ones from the Nail Salon....the one's who weren't blessed with money or traditional family upbringings.....They had it hard and crawled out by themselves and are all women I can get on board with. You may wonder why I read these....cause I love the older women in this book...the 40-80 year olds (Come on Charlotte is adorable), and quite a few of the men like Jack and Cal. I even enjoy the kids although the newest one is on a fast track to becoming like the above mentioned 20 something brats. Mickey "Fugghedaboutit" |

What is it about Leigh? Yep Mickey, I didn't dig Marcus much the first time I read it, and I still don't like him throughout several times in the book, but overall, I did enjoy it. The closely related thing is creepy, but like you said, it was done back then. Kristie "I love being married. I finished Delicious yesterday - it was good. Yesterday I purchased Collen McCullough's new book "The Independence of Miss Mary Bennett". As the title suggests this book is Mary Bennett's story 20 years after the ending of Pride and Prejudice. I love the cover of this book it is very pretty and feminine. I will start this book tonight. "The Thorn Birds" also written by Colleen McCullough is one of my all time favourite books so I have high hopes for this new book. Dianne |

I am trying something a little different for me. I wanted to find out why JR Ward has such a large following. So I am reading Dark Lover (first book of the Black Dagger Brotherhood). I am not sure what I think about the book yet...I have only read 68 pages and she seems to be taking a lot of time setting the scene and giving background information. Has anyone read this series? If so what did you think/ Dianne

I have started Only By Your Touch because all of the talk about Ben got me curious. So far I am loving the book, but I knew I would, Catherine never lets me down, lol.
