Me too. I never learned to dance more than the school taught us in gym class. I wasn't allowed to attend school dances. The best I can do is sway to the music while I hold my grandkids.

I was born with two left feet, and when I dance, they multiply to four in number. My husband, Sid, won dance competitions before he hooked up with me. Poor guy. His competition days ended when he tangled with my four left feet. He loves me, though, so he's happy to sway. I can sort of manage a two-step. My son John loves western dancing. One night he tried to twirl me under his arm, and we both almost went down. I'll stick with swaying.

I saw a pic of Kate in People. She was wearing a bikini, and you can see her tummy tuck scars. Only faintly, though.

Swaying is good....and the closer the better! Tim and I go to dances here in our area and only dance the slow ones! But we have people who have taken dance lessons and love to show it off.

We have one couple that had a dance studio (his is well over 90 and she is early 80's)...but they'll get up and dance and everyone will clear the floor for them. They spend a few months each year in Hawaii and she does Hawaiian (?) dancing. I think she even teaches it...not bad for her age and she had both knees replaced about 6 months ago.

In order to do that, I'd need a whole body replacement and the gift of rhythm. Kudos to both of them.

Years ago i went to Ballroom dance classes and hated it. I soon learnt i dont have any co-ordination and i can forget about aerobics, yoga is more my capabilites. And knees isnt like Sid he has two left feet like me. But we both can shuffle real good when called upon.

My 85 year old grandmother just LOVES DWTS, but I just can't really get into it. I like dancing and have no problem with steps, but I don't really enjoy watching people. I suppose if it were the only thing on TV I might tune in. Great to see the bachelor Jake was chosen....I'm sure he will be great to watch. In unrelated note, it is great to see the show revitalize the careers of many past stars, like Marie Osmond for example. Btw, what a terrible week she's had, I feel for her.

   Hi, Catherine-

Sorry to report that Marie's eldest son, aged 18, committed suicide this past week. He jumped several stories from the ledge of his apartment building to his immediate death. He was adopted, as were several of her children, and had a history of some type of abuse. According to an old video clip of an interview with Marie on Larry King, her son was in rehab at only 16.

Oh, how sad. I'm sure her heart is breaking tonight. We all need to pray for her, and also for his siblings. That can't be easy.
