"Character you would like to see get their own book?"
|
We know Catherine is planning books for the rest of the Paxtons and Harrigans, but is there another character from one of her books that you think should get their own story? We don't want her to run out of ideas, you know. At the end of Cherish, it makes this reference to one of Race and Rebecca's sons: "...how many young men have you known who would dare to kidnap and hogtie the Cutter Gulch schoolteacher, then carry her home on the back of his horse? Zachariah Spencer did exactly that, then married the poor girl in the Apache way, giving her no say in the matter at all. Now if that wasn't something? And even worse, the black-hearted polecat got away with it!" Doesn't that sound like the synopsis of a great book? Beth |

Kind of along the same lines, but I would love to see the Kendrick/Coulter/Harrigan clans all come together in a book. I just imagine that being a really fun family reunion! I'm sure there are others. I'll have to think about it more! Beth |

Well, Ace Keegan's younger half-brother, David Paxton, just got his story shipped off to NAL. The next one will be Quincy Harrigan. What character(s) would you all like to see featured in their own stories? Have at it, readers. Who, and why? |

I also think Ace's modern day generation would make a great story. One character that has not been talked about is Ambrose Zerek. I would love to hear his story. He was a great secondary character that I wanted to hear more about. He had a great disposition and would love to see him find true love. I don't think Mrs. Anderson has ever written a mail-order bride story. I'm in love with these type of stories and would love it if she wrote one. |

I still stand by my original post when I started this thread....I think Race's son Zach's story sounds like a good one! I think it would be neat to see Harv and Mary Coulter's story, though it would be different because it's an odd time period - not "historical" per se, but not contemporary either. I seems like it's too soon for second-generation Kendrick/Coulter/Harrigan stories, though I want to see them someday. (You're going to live to be 100, right Catherine?) Beth |
