mmmm. i will have to check this out too. i have mixed feelings about my favourite books being turned into movies. When books i have read were turned it movies before i didnt like it but then i could always not watch them. It would be good for Catherine's career to have them made into movies. They would be great as they are great stories. If only they could get the right people for the part and the diretor didn't tweek it. I couldn't imagine anyone playing any of my heroes part. I have them all fixed in my mind. High up there on pedastels.I tell you what though. The guy that plays Jacob on Twilight would be one good choice. Where did you see this clip? i am going to have a look? Is is the one where a redheaded woman and a darkhaired woman is captured but the redheaded woman decided to go back to the indians once free? Because i remmeber watching that one Michelle Wales (UK) |

I dont think there is a single actor who would come close to the vision i have in my head Catherine. Especially jake and Ace, I would be quite happy to view a line up of men though no problem!
With the women actors now they are all too false and fake. So i thinkt he women would need to be fresh faced and new someone not so famous who had fake everything. No film of these books would ever compare to your writing Catherine. I cherish them too much. Michelle Wales (UK) |

Like you, my friends, I don't have a clue who should play any of my characters. I love the idea of having a film made, but I'm not sure it would ever happen, or even if I would be comfortable with the idea. I am afraid I might be the type of author who would drive the producer and director crazy, wanting things a certain way, wanting to change this and that, and ignoring practical considerations of film making, about which, frankly, I know nothing. Anybody out there have any suggestions for actors/actresses who might take roles...even secondary ones? |

Hi, All- Of course for years I've wanted to see Catherine's books made into film, those of you veterans know we worked for months making contacts for Catherine. I hold hope that someday they may gel. I suppose we must be content to just dream at the present....and yes, Catherine, you would have to find the right fit with a producer who shares your style and vision to get the project just right....but I am sure someone of your stature would get the very finest producers on board. I love reading about who you would like to see on the screen, and keep the suggestions coming, gals. Dreams are worth holding onto. Stephanie Vogelsong stephvogelsong@aol.com |
