"Movie"

Everytime I read one of Catherines books I think to myself, Wow this would make a great movie. I think all of her books would make great movies. There is suspense, heartbreak, jealousy and romance all in one love story.

I was just thinking the same thing. I just finished Comanche Moon this afternoon and thought about what an excellent movie that would make. It is far and above my favorite book of all time!

Could you imagine movies for ALL the stories in the Kendrick/Coulter series....that would be great! Especially Sweet Nothings...I'm so in love with Jake Coulter!!!

If one of Catherine Anderson's books would turn into a movie I wouldn't want to see it. Not because I won't love it, but because I have my own ideas how Rafe, Maggie, Jake, Molly and the others look like, where they live etc Know what I mean?

Hi! I'm new to this board, but I totally agree with the movie idea! I have read 4 of Catherine's book and LOVE every one of them. I read through them so fast and then I'm like "now what???" I just finished Sweet Nothings and I agree that Jake is wonderful!!

I am new to the site but I was just thinking the same thing! I own all of the Coulter series books and I love them. I have read them all at least 5 or 6 times each Although I do wonder if a movie would ruin the books for me. Most times when movies are made based off of books all the good stuff is left out and I always notice. Movies are never as good as books cause things never turn out how you imagine them in as you're reading.

Bee, I know what you mean. I've seen some movies made from novels that were incredibly good, and more that were incredibly bad. I think it depends on the adaptation, and so often the author has little or no control over it. But I'm glad everyone on this board thinks my books merit a movie!

Honestly I do not want to see Catherine's books made into movies. I have seen TOO many movies that were books and they DESTROYED the book. Can I just say ROSE HILL aka For The Roses by Julie Garwood.

I would only see it if Catherine did thw writing and screen play.

I would love to see the books brought to film. I agree that usually the book is better, but I think with the right actors/actresses a movie could turn out great! Several of Nicholas Sparks's books have been made into a movie and they were awesome.

In a way misty i agree with you. I think movies have often ruint books and i have a vision of each character iw ould not want to see destroyed. But then a film would be great for Catheirne career and i would so want that for her.

And by the way everyone Jake is MINE. LOL
