"Kendrick/Coutler Series Continue"
 
If the Kendrick/Coulter series continued, why don't you (Catherine) use all of their kids in the stories? Jamie and Chad and Rosie aren't officially Kendricks/Coutlers, but they are part of the family. What do you guys think?

I'm waiting for the kids to be grown up and Catherine can write Chad and Rosie's stories. Can you imagine Rosie grown? The chase she'd give her man. I am also waiting for the Coulter/Kendrick parents' stories.

That would be too weird because the Coulter/Kendricks are contemporaries. The story line would have to be futuristic. I think that is why she opened up to this whole new family to work with. Plus she still has all the relatives from the past.....I'm sure we won't get bored. LOL

I don't think it would be too weird to read Harv and Mary Coulter's story and Ann and Keefe Kendrick's story. In previous books Catherine wrote that Mary left Harv while pregnant with Jake and Harv had to forcibly remove her from her father's house. In Phantom Waltz we learn that Keefe had an extra blanket and he had lied about that when she apparently was thinking about marrying someone else. I'm curious about their stories. Catherine's historicals with the Paxton's tie in with the Kendrick/Coulter series so I wouldn't think it would be too hard to write their stories as well.

absolutely, I would love the Kendricks story especially I think. She is soooo cool. Mary Coulter on the other hand is quite ditzy so I'm not sure what kind of heroine she would make. Unless they play her off as an endearing featherhead hehehehe. Both Dads are perfect Hero material.

Mickey, I agree with you about Mary Coulter acting a bit scatterbrained, after all, she says her babies were laid in her husband's boot! But I think I'd love to read their story as well as the Kendrick's story because I want to read about her leaving her husband, pregnant with Jake, and punching him in the eye. I know there's more to this story and I want it!

I don't know if you read Catherines letter the other day, but she says she wants to write both the stories. However, since their romances would have happened in the 20th century...they won't fall under contemporary or Historical so she is going to have trouble convincing her publishers....pehaps she could do a telling of the stories going back and forth kind of like what she did with Summer Breese???? Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Well if mary coulter is such a "virgin" then harv would have had to give her quite a chase. i think it would be really intresting to hear her side of things.

   Hey everyone... I am new... I am in the middle of reading this series... Personally, I would like to read the stories of the parents & kids as well. Maybe I stand alone but I would like to get a book of updates so to say. Kind of like the whole family 10 years down the road. I just love the whole family and want more of them. I want more of the stories that exist too.

Welcome to the BB! Not sure what Catherine's plans are for this family, but she is continuing the series with the Harrington's, so will see glimpses of the Kendricks/Coulters. yah!

   Hi everyone! I'm new to the BB, but a long time CA fan!
I too would love to hear Harv/Marys and Ann/Keefe stories.
I can't imagine why the publishers would have a problem with it... after all, the rest of the series has been a sucess and we all know Catherine would write some great books about them. Who cares if they fall under contemporary or historical or what? Not me! lol

   I have read darn near all of the Coulter/Kendrick/Harrigan novels and I don't recall a character named Jamie. Who did he/she belong to or what book were they in? I think the only book in the series that I haven't read is Baby Love.

Jamie belongs to Rafe and Maggie (Baby Love). Maggie already had Jamie when she met Rafe, I don't want to give too much of the book away if you haven't read it yet. Hope this helps.
