I also am a sucker for pirates. But I still have yet to find myself some really good Pirate stories. Anyone have any ones to recomend there? I find its a hard genre to find. At least for me.

My daughter absolutely loved this series about vampire pirates. It is in the young adult genre. She told me about a male vampire who tries to help the heroine escape his fate.

My all time most favorite medieval story was by Laura Kinsale. It was called something like..."For my Lady's Heart". She incorporated alot of old english in the book--it really let you escape into the time. The Hero starts out married to a crazy, religious fanatic. He was so understanding and tender with her it won my heart. I love heroes who are physically very capable, yet also tender. That reminds me of another hero I love in Judith McNaught's medieval book about the first Westmoreland, Royce. It was called "Kingdom of Dreams".
